Description
The TLC5940 is a 16-channel PWM unit with 12-bit duty cycle control (0-4095), 6-bit current limit control (0-63), and a serial interface that can be connected in series. This breakthrough circuit board is a good way to make full use of this useful IC. All 16 PWM channels are decomposed into standard 0.1-inch sockets, which conveniently connect voltage and ground rails. In addition, because the TLC5940 can be daisy-chained, breakthrough designs are designed to support this feature. All serial inputs are broken down into 0.1-inch headers, as is the output on the right.
